I used to work for Oxfam when I was 15 through school volunteering afternoons.

 

The charities that I presently support financially are Sense (http://sense.org.uk) and Centrepoint (http://centrepoint.org.uk). I have also been a full 1314 donor.

I spent some of my evenings as a student computer scientist helping undergraduates with their Lab exercises in Biomedical Sciences.

​

I have continued volunteering during employment.

​

I apply my area knowledge to work as a teaching assistant in East London schools that cannot afford dedicated subject teachers. These are schools where teachers have to cover several subjects. This has allowed them to offer computer science classes for the first time. It also encourages the children to apply for Apprenticeship opportunities with our Firm.
