​The charities that I have supported financially are Sense (http://sense.org.uk) and Centrepoint (http://centrepoint.org.uk). I have also volunteered at Oxfam for several years.

I spent some of my evenings as a student computer scientist helping undergraduates with their Lab exercises in Biomedical Sciences.

I have continued volunteering during employment. ​

I volunteer as a teaching assistant in East London schools that cannot afford dedicated subject teachers. These are schools where the teachers have to cover several subjects. Volunteering has allowed those schools to offer computer science classes for the first time. I help with mock exam marking sessions and currently conduct CV reviews.
